What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What's a funnel marketing strategy? Why should online marketers create one?

It is a marketing strategy designed to attract new customers to your website. It's a sales process in which visitors come to your blog to seek information that could help solve the issue. You will be able to establish a relationship with every person you meet using certain tools.

This will enable you to understand the customers' requirements. This will enable you to give the best information to each customer. If you gain the trust of your visitors, they will be more likely to buy your products. The customer becomes the visitor.

At some point, many customers turn into extremely loyal clients who are willing to purchase just about every product that your website promotes. A marketing funnel consists of all of the steps required to convert a regular user of your site to become a loyal customer and buy every product you offer.

This is the main goal for any internet marketer. It is achievable with a properly designed funnel.

Your marketing efforts are grabbing the attention of people, and bringing them into your funnel. They enter the funnel when they fill in the forms that you have on your PERSONAL lead capture page. I say "personal" because no one will ever opt-in on your business lead capture page. They want to become a leader, and not a business.

The lead capture page is where they begin the funnel. If they click on the "Sign up Now" or "Enter here" buttons, they will be in a position to enter a different universe of marketing through networks.

They are preparing themselves for it and that is the best thing. It's their decision. You've not sold them anything except yourself as a leader, a mentor, and as someone that can help them increase leads and bring more cash into their businesses.

This is how an advertising funnel functions.

To draw customers to your product, you need to offer them an opportunity to win a prize on the "front end". To get your product for free you must sign up (also called opt-in) and give your name and email address. In turn, you will include them on your email list.

You can now add these contacts to your email list so that you can send them other relevant offers.

They'll be directed to the page with an offer for a lower price or what is called trip wire deals right after they sign to receive the offer for free. At this point, they will be taken to the "back side" of your funnel.

If they purchase the bargain deal, they will be added to a second related offer at an even higher cost (normally called an "upsell"). A person who also purchases the lower priced offer will be directed to the next similar product at an even more expensive price. This can continue for a lengthy period of time.
